Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Black Beans (Hydrated/Rinsed if home grown or out of a large store bought can)

  • 2/3 cup - 1 cup Chocolate Chips

  • 1 cup quick oats

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup pure Maple Syrup or Honey (We use Maple Syrup)

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt


Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350*F

  2. Combine all ingredients except for the chocolate chips in a blender and blend until completely smooth (It should look like a smooth puree)

  3. Stir the Chocolate Chips into the mixture

  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8 pan or a 6x9 baking sheet

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes

  6. Once removed from the oven, let rest and cool off until room temperature. Once cooled, cut into squares.

  7. Enjoy!
